If I were the president...

I think the change never happens from a person who considers themselves as a change. Change comes from someone who really wants to contribute to the world and help. If I were the president, I would think about what is going on in the world now and what will happen 1 year later, or 3, 4 years later. Always trying to think from the citizen’s perspective and develop the economy. I think that is the president I want to be and that is the president we need, not the ones who fight for their greed to survive.
I think that being President is a hard job and it would be a very stressful job.Change is important and espically now since we are in an economic crisis.I totally disagree with the previous post because that person is referring to President Obama and is obviously being biased, we are only kids and whenever people start talking about politics people start becoming defencive. Although in the previous post it also says a lot of good points, such as thinking in the perspective of the citizens because we, the people are the ones who have to live by the laws set in stone by our leaders, wether its our nation leaders or our communtiys' leaders.
I believe that the president needs to really pay attention to the real issues. For example, our views have shifted from global warming and the war in Iraq to an economy that is poor. The economy is an important topic (in fact, very important), but we need to focus on the economy, global warming, and whether we will keep the troops in Iraq or not. If there are issues that are as important as these, then we need to focus on those too.
a president is a perilous position. just two years ago, most people did not know McCain or Oboma. it is just within months that will change their lives. this shows their sacrifices.
